While speaking with our teammate, the caller stated that he was near the main stage at the Orange Crush event, when he heard about someone with a gun on the beach. At that time, he joined a crowd of people who were running away and believes that his cell phone fell from his pocket as he made his escape. He later tracked the phone to a motel in Savannah but was unable to narrow down an exact room number. Officers responded to an address on 6th Avenue in reference to credit card fraud. While speaking with our team, employees of a vacation rental company stated that a credit card had been used to rent the property on Friday, April 18th.
