As the investigation progressed, officers received additional information about a suspect vehicle and three adults who were also involved in the crimes. While on patrol, officers successfully located the vehicle and took all three adult suspects into custody without incident. During the course of the arrests, officers recovered several stolen items to include sunglasses and prescription pills. The suspect vehicle was also impounded and a search warrant is pending at this time.

On Saturday, February 26, officers responded to River’s End Campground in reference to an accident. Upon their arrival, officers learned that a woman had driven over an electrical box and kept going before striking a nearby stop sign. While speaking with the woman, the officers noticed that she had a strong odor similar to that of an alcoholic drink emitting from her person and that she seemed to have trouble staying on her feet. During the course of the investigation, officers found additional evidence to suggest that she had been operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The woman was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with DUI.
